Nimna Withanachchi joined Witten in September 2024 as an Articling Student. Prior to earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2024, Nimna completed a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinctions. Her studies were primarily focused on business economics and law. During her time in law school, Nimna gained valuable experience by volunteering with Student Legal Services, where she provided legal services under the supervision of advising lawyers. In addition, Nimna completed a judicial internship through the Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice. These two roles will serve Nimna well as a student-at-law.

Outside of work, Nimna enjoys running, spending quality time with friends and family, and traveling to different cities to explore new places.
