Patrick Stratton
, a partner in Witten’s corporate/commercial team, brings a unique perspective to his clients’ matters with his background in economics. He regularly represents and advises clients on various aspects of business law, including the purchase and sale of businesses and real estate, contract negotiations, employment issues, and privacy law.

Patrick’s areas of expertise include:

  • negotiating agreements in the resource and alternative energy sectors;
  • securing commercial lending for First Nations, First Nation-owned businesses, and financial institutions; and
  • providing corporate governance counsel to a range of clients, including First Nation businesses, societies, trusts, and medical Professional Corporations.

Beyond his professional commitments, Patrick is an active participant in team sports, enjoys backcountry travel, and contributes to the Edmonton community through volunteering on boards and in fundraising efforts.
