Michael D. A. Janvier

Michael Janvier joined Witten in January 2025 as an Articling Student after completing his Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta. Michael also holds a Red Seal Journeyman Certificate from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Before entering the field of law, Michael served as a Councillor for Cold Lake First Nations and as a Journeyman in the oil and gas industry. These experiences will serve him well as a Student-at-Law.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys staying active with his family and in his community. You can often find him at the hockey rink, snowboarding, hiking, biking, or river floating. He also loves exploring the local food scene and traveling.
